Time and Beyond 2

For the purpose of argument, the origin and end of life will
be dealt as non-concrete concepts. This proposal is based on the non-assuring
nature of the two, merely being mental constructs; there is no certainty if
there really exist a beginning and an end. To explain non-concrete concepts, it will be
useful to have a point or frame of reference where these concepts can be
aligned and be seen in a perspective where a relationship is established. This
certain reference to which a relationship is established should be concrete and
indubitable; therefore it should be a universal truth. In this regard, there
arises the need to define a reference that would form the ground where the
concepts of the origin and end of life can be seen as forces acting, be
directly or indirectly, on each other. With this, the thought of ‘time’ comes
to mind.
Time is an entity belonging to mathematics. It is considered as the fourth dimension. The attribute of time as a numerical entity is very important. Mathematics is known as the queen of all sciences for a very formidable reason. Science, though ever changing and evolving, is an exacting art. Its very foundation is built on mathematics; science cannot exist without it. Mathematics is a system in itself; it can stand alone independent of life and its realization is but inevitable. Of all the systems in the universe, mathematics possesses the supremacy in orderliness; it has the closest proximity to perfection, the closest to God-being

I was sitting quietly on a bench when a little girl sat beside me and started a friendly talk. And at the middle of it, I was caught off guard by a very unexpected question: 'bakit ka malungkot?' ('why are you sad?'). I was at loss for a reply so I just diverted her attention to different topic. Really... a child's innocent eyes can see through anything.
